The children are always thrilled to hear we are holidaying in Pembrokshire. They look forward to the spectacular coastal walks, secluded beaches and fish and chip suppers in the harbour. This year the weather was particularly kind to us proof that it does not always rain in Wales. We finished each day in the pool at Manorbier Country Park one of the best parks we have ever stayed at. The surrounding campsite was so well kept the park became the perfect base to explore the area. We stayed for five days visiting attractions, exploring hidden bays combined with diverse wildlife. Tourist information was good suggesting even more hidden gems although more information and a route planner would have enhanced the experience. A minor inconvenience when you return home and reflect on what had been a fantastic break.
